Louis Vasseur – Manager
Louie, our “Manager Extraordinaire” contacted us after reading an article about us in a local magazine called ‘Invironments’. At the time we were being featured for our success in a national battle of the bands contest.
He is camera shy so I’ll have to get APJ to steal a pic of him at our next show to post. If you’d like to visit his website it’s http://www.thevasseurgroup.com
William Ward – Business Manager/Engineer
Will, my husband, is the ‘man behind the scenes’. He is very smart, and always has ideas and projects floating around. He is currently in the process of building and creating Curmudgeon Records, a professional-grade recording studio. He records local bands and seeks out talent that will play a key part in his future endeavors. He acts as our sound engineer as well as maintains and monitors our website, online sales, and online promotional advertising.
I met Will thru a mutual friend. She brought him over to my place one day–and he never left!!
Apple Pie Joe – Photographer
We first met Joe at Muggzies (a bar in Sycamore, IL.) We were the entertainment at a wine tasting they were hosting, and Joe kept buying us Apple Pie Shots (hence the name.)
Joe definitely has an eye for the moment. In each picture he takes, there is a story. His personality and style saturate his pictures. Sometimes graceful, sometimes goofy, and sometimes dark…he brings meaning and creativity into each photo he takes.
Bass – Mike Orr
Mike and I have been playing together almost since my very beginning. We met thru one of our former promoters. At the time, he was playing in a Nirvana tribute band called BLEACH (I think they still have some YouTube vids posted.) Mike’s influences include Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, & Iron Maiden. Before we hooked up, he played in several different types of tribute bands.
What I love about playing with Mike is that he’s got so much versatility and style when he plays his bass alone. When we play together, my simple guitar riffs compliment his moving bass lines, and we end up with sweet sounding songs that flow in and out of the verses and the choruses with ease and simplicity, and yet when you take a listen, it isn’t simple sounding at all!
